Ms. Lucy's Festival Dinner
Mrs. Melissa Lucy James (lovingly known as Ms Lucy) was the Queen of the Strawberry Festival on Vashon Island in 1923 at the age of 104. In her honor the Vashon-Maury Island Heritage Association will kick off this year’s Strawberry Festival with the Ms Lucy’s Festival Dinner on Friday night July 19th. Look for ticket sales and details of the Dinner coming soon. It will be a night of family fun and the beginning of a new tradition.
