The Vashon-Maury Island Chamber of Commerce welcome's you to Vashon Island! We have a wonderful diversity of charming Bed & Breakfasts on our haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are approximately 20 B&Bs and small country inns, and even an international hostel. Some are billed as romantic get-a-ways and others are designed with families in mind.

Of the many lodgings available on the island; you can find accommodations for every taste and budget; from funky to romantic to elegant. Many have acreage and amenities ranging from gourmet breakfasts to fireplaces, hot tubs, paths and ponds or ocean views. If you want to come for the night or a fortnight there's a place for you to relax, refresh and unwind

A number of the B&Bs have been selected for mention in books such as "Best Places to Kiss in the Pacific Northwest", "Best Places to Stay in the Northwest" and AAA. If you plan a spring or summer get-a-way on Vashon, plan ahead, as we are becoming a popular spot for weddings. Guests at our B&Bs come from all over the US and all over the world (some folks have a two night minimum stay - especially on weekends and during summer months). There are restaurants and coffee shops, plus two great delis in our grocery stores, so eating can be fun and interesting. We are a calm refuge nestled in the center of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan areas.
