Join us for the inaugural vashon volunteer leadership fair

Discover your role. Empower your community!

The Chamber Nonprofit Roundtable is proud to present the Vashon Volunteer Leadership Fair, a groundbreaking event dedicated to fostering community engagement and leadership. This free event is your chance to dive into the world of board service and volunteer leadership, connect with local nonprofits, and discover how you can make a difference.

🗓 Date: March 23
⏰ Time: 11 AM to 1 PM
📍 Location: Vashon High School

What to Expect: Kickstart your day with an informative session with leadership coach and consultant Liz Keever from 11.15am - 12pm, offering essential insights into how to connect with your most rewarding volunteer opportunities. Ideal for both newcomers and seasoned volunteers alike, Liz comes to us through 501 Commons, a recognized leader in providing support services to Washington nonprofits. We're excited to welcome her expertise to Vashon.

Connection Hour: After the opening session, meet casually face-to-face with representatives from local nonprofits. Learn about their missions, discuss their impact, and explore opportunities to join their teams as board members or volunteer leaders.

What will community participants gain? This event is for folks who want to take any kind of leadership role in a Vashon nonprofit but aren't sure what that means, or how to connect! What does it involve to serve on a board? What kinds of leadership opportunities are available? Attendees will leave educated, inspired, and connected.

This fair is an opportunity to strengthen local nonprofits with your unique perspective and to contribute to meaningful causes. Whether you're aiming to apply your professional skills, fulfill a passion for community service, or simply learn more about the nonprofit sector, the fair opens the door to endless possibilities.

Join us on March 23 for this free event and be empowered to lead, serve, and inspire. Don’t miss out on this chance to make a significant difference right where you live!
